TDEE Calculator gives general estimates for information only. It is not medical advice.
What this is
TDEE Calculator estimates how many calories you use in a day and suggests a calorie target for a goal such as losing fat or building muscle. It uses published equations and guidelines, with the assumptions explained on the results page and in the project's documentation.
Not medical advice
The results are general estimates for healthy adults. They are not medical, dietary or other professional advice and do not replace it. Talk to a doctor or registered dietitian before making big changes to how you eat, especially if you are under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or have or have had an eating disorder.
Estimates, not promises
Bodies differ, and so do day-to-day activity, sleep and stress. The numbers are a starting point: check how your weight and energy respond over a few weeks and adjust. Expected changes are upper estimates and real change is usually slower. If you feel unwell, stop and seek professional advice.
Using the calculator
- It is free to use for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Please enter your own details honestly and accurately.
- Do not copy or present the results as professional advice to other people.
No warranty, and limits on responsibility
The calculator is provided “as is”, without any promise that it is accurate, complete or suitable for you. To the extent the law allows, its makers are not responsible for decisions you make based on it or for any resulting loss or harm. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be limited by law.
